It’s May, 1963. Joe Cutler has just finished seventh grade and is a newly minted teenager. He received a new bicycle for his birthday and is looking forward to three glorious months of summer vacation to begin his life as a teen. But summer might not be so glorious. There is a big problem… money. And Joe doesn’t have any.
As he solves his money problems, Joe stumbles upon a mystery that involves theft and war, death and survival, valuable coins, and the strongest friendship imaginable.
