Meet Janine Winters, a seventeen-year-old professional songwriter and guitar virtuoso. Just as Dagger is about to compete in Vermont's biggest music competition - The Battle of the Bands - Janine breaks her wrist during a snowboarding accident. She must decide: Drop out of the competition or face her biggest fear - Singing?
