The Flinn Performance Screening Tool (FPST) identifies the valued life activities of a person who is recovering from an injury or illness. The process assists those who are prepared to enhance their current level of independence and overall health and well-being. The findings will supplement your evaluation, create a custom designed program, monitor consumer progress, and demonstrate measurable outcomes.
A personalized goal profile is created after the consumer has selected important but problematic activities of daily living. Over 300 images of activities are provided in self-care, home and outside activities, sleep, social participation, leisure, education, and work. For example, personal hygiene is a self-care activity that is represented by photographs such as washing hair, caring for toenails, and applying deodorant. Similarly, meal preparation is an example of a home activity that is represented by photographs such as using a microwave, opening and closing a jar, and washing silverware.
