ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Born just outside of Chicago, Jason Liegois has lived for the majority of his life in the Eastern Iowa area. A graduate of the University of Iowa, Liegois spent 12 years as a full-time and freelance journalist with various eastern Iowa and western Illinois papers, including the Muscatine Journal, Quad City Times, and Clinton Herald, among others, and then began a teaching career. He currently works as a special education instructor, having also previously taught language arts at the secondary education level and composition with Muscatine Community College and Upper Iowa University. He currently lives in Muscatine, Iowa, with his wife, Laura, and their two children. The Holy Fool is Mr. Liegois’s first published novel.

Born outside of Chicago, Jason Liegois has spent nearly his entire life in the state of Iowa. Growing up in Muscatine, Iowa, and a University of Iowa graduate, Mr. Liegois previously worked as a full-time and freelance journalist with newspapers, including the Muscatine Journal, Quad City Times, and Clinton Herald. He currently works as a high school special education teacher, having previously taught language arts at the secondary level and composition at the junior college level. He currently lives in Fort Madison, Iowa, with his wife, Laura. They have two children. The Yank Striker’s Journey is the second book in The Yank Striker series, and Mr. Liegois’ third published novel, after The Yank Striker: A Footballer’s Beginning and The Holy Fool: A Journalist’s Revolt.
